Evolution and Codere roll out Live Roulette on EGMs in Latin America

Published: 29/10/13

Evolution Gaming, the world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, has announced that it has teamed up with Codere to introduce Live Roulette on EGMs (Electronic Gaming Machines) in Latin America. The move brings Evolution’s multi-award-winning Live Casino content to EGM screens for the first time.

An initial roll out went live in selected Codere gaming halls in October, 2013. The Live Roulette games are streamed in real time from Evolution’s Live Casino studios to the screens of the networked EGMs. Players can place bets, see the live dealer and follow every spin of the ball on the real Roulette table in the same way as if they were playing Evolution Live Roulette on a PC/Mac or Tablet. The Live Roulette roll out could be extended to other Codere venues in Latin America and, thereafter, potentially to other markets in Europe.

Felipe Lude?a, Chief Information Officer at Codere, said: “We are confident that Evolution’s Live Roulette on EGMs will be both a real crowd-puller and revenue-driver. Evolution is recognised as the market-leading Live Casino provider in Europe. Their live content provides us with the perfect opportunity to gain first-to-market advantage in Latin America with games that are literally ‘as real as it gets’”.

Evolution CEO Jens von Bahr added: “We are delighted to be working with Codere in a new market and in this exciting new area of Live Casino play. Partnering with such a revered, market-leading player in Latin America and Spain offers Evolution access to countless new players, who expect the most engaging and interactive content. It has always been our plan to make our live streams available to multiple interfaces. This initiative fits perfectly with our mission to deliver a flawless Live Casino experience across multiple channels and devices. This is another Evolution first, and one that redefines the quality and excitement of the gaming experience available on a gaming terminal screen.”
